AGOTADO
Untitled Ruins is an adventure book and a research on the limits of digital photography. Built upon the visual documentation of three imperial ruins (Bonampak, México; Pompey, Italy; Qin Shi Huang´s Mausoleum, China), it offers a first person immersive experience of entering a temple that hides in its centre a story about the origins of language and the relation between text and image. A canny reader may also discover that this temple can be the photographical camera itself, hiding in its inner myth a brief and poetic meditation on how the digital image builds and ruins our future.
