El mundo es un tubo es un libro de ensayos especulativos de género híbrido (fábulas, cuentos, aforismos) que explora un territorio particular desde donde pensar nuestra relación con las imágenes.
Existe una isla donde las plantas, los animales, los minerales, las flores y el aire fresco, conviven con el ser humano, en libertad. También la rumian los fantasmas. Insisten en aparecer, como los recuerdos lo hacen. Cada una de estas partes habla su propio lenguaje. La isla toda habla su historia, y yo tuve la suerte de estar ahí.
El texto que se presenta es una recopilación de algunas conversaciones elementales; pedazos que creí oír y que aquí traduzco. Hay descritas también curiosidades de la isla e ideas que tuve inspirado por ese territorio que se encuentra en el Océano Atlántico, dentro del lenguaje y en nuestra imaginación.

There is an island where plants, animals, minerals, flowers, and fresh air coexist with human beings, in freedom. Ghosts also roam the island. They persist in appearing, just as memories do. Each of these parts speaks its own language. The whole island tells its story, and I was fortunate enough to be there.
The text presented is a compilation of some elemental conversations; fragments I believed I heard and that I now translate here. It also describes some curiosities of the island and ideas I had, inspired by that territory, which lies in the Atlantic Ocean, within language, and in our imagination.
